My client, a leading Civil Engineering business operating across the UK, Ireland and the Middle East are seeking a Bid / Proposals Coordinator to join a newly created bid team in Birmingham.

About the role

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the completion and submission of PQQ’s, generating responses to questions and submitting by agreed deadlines. You will monitor online trackers / OJEU noticed for new opportunities, summarise them and forward to the relevant department. Alongside this, you will also complete membership and association questionnaires, keep certification filed correctly and up to date, prepare a response responsibility matrix, input information to tender submissions, produce tender documents, arrange site visits and support the Bid Manager in maintaining the bid library.

About you

You must have previous experience working as a Bid / Proposals Coordinator, ideally within the built environment however other sector experience will be considered. You must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be able to work to tight deadlines. Due to the nature of bidding, you must be able to manage a busy workload and juggle a number of bids at any one time. Previous knowledge of construction industry practices would be an advantage.
