My client, an internationally recognised law firm are currently seeking a Bid Team Manager to join their growing bids function.

About the role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the bids team, working as part of the wider global bid team. You will deliver critical bid support to Bid Coordinators, Bid Executives and Senior Bid Executives throughout the bidding process. Key responsibilities include – lead and develop the bid team, supporting the development of bids to ensure bid excellence, contribute to the strategic growth of the business through new and existing business wins, manage workflow and allocation for all bid tasks, drive the bid process ensuring all team members and stakeholders are aware of their role and timeline deliverables, review, monitor and promote bid best practice, track and support on all workflow allocations, bid progress, status updates and bid reporting, support the head of bids to deliver all bid and pursuit activity, work with the content team to support the development of content and analyse bid reporting, statistics, feedback and outcomes to support continuous improvement. This role reports to the Senior Bid Operations Manager. This role offers flexible working with a mixture of home and office.

About you

You will be an experienced Bid Manager, ideally with team management experience and have a proven track record of delivering winning bids. Strong bid process knowledge, stakeholder engagement, organisation and project management skills are essential. You will have worked in a fast-paced environment and be confident managing complex bids with challenging timelines. Previous experience working within the legal / professional services sector would be an advantage however my client will consider applicants from any sector. Ideally you will be qualified to degree level and have a good understanding of bid software systems and SharePoint.
