Job Title: Bid and Proposals Manager

Position: Full time – Perm

Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 + Healthcare + Pension contribution, APMP membership, Travel & Cycle to work schemes.

Location: Glasgow

Job Description: This is an opportunity for a bid manager or bid coordinator that has just made the step or is looking to make the step into a bid manager role. You will be joining a small focused team out of the Glasgow office with occasional travel to the company’s offices throughout the UK (roughly 1 day per month).

You will be working with colleagues throughout the business, supporting all aspects of the bidding process; prequalification, tenders, capability statements and presentations, maintaining information libraries and creating new bid files as well as, supporting the creation of marketing material, website copy and awards.

You will be collaborating with your team, directors, consultants and Civil/Structural Engineers throughout the organisation.

Ideally you will have gained experience within a similar business, as a bid/proposal manager or coordinator, within the built environment and will have passion for your work.

Required skills

  • Creativity, collaboration and communication are key with this role projecting the company’s values
  • You will need to be highly organised with an eye for detail, capable of multitasking, working as part of a team as well as independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced user of MS Office Packages and Adobe InDesign
  • Experienced managing full bidding process with a desire to improve the bidding processes where possible
  • Design office experience
  • Multitasking, Time management and Working to Deadlines
