Our client is a leading technology specialist with a strong European and global reach. Due to continued demand, development and growth they are looking for an experienced business development manager to join the team.

This role is a client facing business development position within the Aviation sector.

Within this role you will be responsible for opening up new opportunities and capitalising on existing relationships with clients throughout Europe and beyond. This role will involve a lot of regular travel with a strong focus on meeting with potential & existing clients to develop relationships.

As an experienced Business development manager your relationships and previous knowledge of the surface transportation sector will be invaluable in securing long term business with clients.

Although there are bonus related metrics in place the focus is on long term growth where some opportunities can take time to reach maturity.

Working independently as well as part of a team is crucial whilst aligning with the companies core strategic business objectives.

Experience required:

Previous experience within the Aviation sector is a high priority.
Minimum 5 years experience generating new business with clients in the Aviation or related sector.
Must be open and flexible to travel for client meetings and new business opportunities.
