Salary: £20,000 - £25,000

Company Background:

Our client is a leading consultancy providing external support for civils and infrastructure clients throughout the UK. They work hand in hand with existing inhouse bidding teams to provide first-hand support at all levels of the bidding process. The company is looking to add a new bid writer due to increased growth and demand from their substantial client base and results driven reputation.

Job Description:

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced bid writer looking to progress within a growing organisation and develop into a more senior position within the business. Within this role you will be based out of the company’s head office but will need to be flexible in order to travel and work with clients at locations throughout the UK.

As an experienced Bid Writer, you will be used to working to deadlines, managing multiple projects at varying stages, engaging with key stakeholders whilst ensuring client expectations are being met. You will support the existing bidding team to co-ordinate input and responses from all phases of the tendering process, prequalification, tenders, capability statements and presentations, developing on existing content in line with specific questions and individual client requirements. You will be required to fully support the wider team throughout the bid development stages.

Required skills

Creativity, collaboration and communication are key with this role, projecting the company’s and clients’ values.

You will need to be highly organised with an eye for detail, capable of multitasking, working as part of a team as well as independently.

Excellent written/verbal communication and numerical skills.

Experienced user of MS Office Packages.

Experienced Bid Writer with passion and creativity.

Demonstratable experience, multitasking, time management and working to deadlines.

Desired Skills

Degree qualified in a relevant discipline

Technical background within the civils and infrastructure sector

Project management experience and qualification.
