Job Title: Bid Writer

Salary: £50-55k + Pension contribution, healthcare, bonus scheme

Location: West Midlands

Company Background:

Our client is a leading civil engineering and infrastructure specialist that has been built from the ground up with a focus on its employees. They have a wide array of clients working on projects within the public and private sector with services that are in demand.

Job Description:

Within this role you will work alongside the pre-existing bid team with your creative flair to provide emphasis and sell the company’s services on tenders for projects.

As an ideal candidate you will have a journalistic background mixed with a creative style of writing allowing you to promote the company’s services effectively.

Although you will not need to be a degree qualified civil engineer experience with civil engineering and infrastructure environments is preferential.

Must be bright, articulate and able to communicate the company’s key selling points effectively, whilst ensuring the main detail of proposals is not lost or altered.

The company is bidding on multiple multimillion projects within both the public and private sector from local government to blue chip organisations. The successful candidate must be an experienced bid writer that is able to multitask working on several projects at one time, being adaptable to the business’s needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bid writer that has a background or experience with civil engineering led proposals to join a family owned organisation with a straight-talking, hard-working, team attitude.

Highly organised capable of multitasking, working on several proposals at one time.
