I am currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Writer for a leading Civil Engineering business.
About the role
As part of the wider bid team, you will be responsible for producing well-structures, high quality written responses to client requirements. You will work closely with project teams and subject matter experts to create technical content, attend bid solution meetings, maintain and update the bid library, contribute towards continuous improvements and development of processes, lead the preparation and production of all written elements of the bid, conduct client research and proofread and edit content.
You will be an experienced Bid Writer, ideally with experience in the Civil Engineering sector however strong Local Authority or Government experience will also be considered. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and timekeeping skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, working to tight deadlines. A degree in English, Marketing, Journalism or relevant sector would be an advantage, however this isn’t essential. This role can offer flexible working.
