This is a great opportunity for a Junior Designer or Artworker who wants to further their career working for a highly successful team.

We are looking for a versatile, energetic, and ambitious Junior Designer or Design Graduate to join our growing Bid team. You will be responsible for creating and preparing tailored creative materials to assist in converting global opportunities into winning solutions for some of the world’s biggest companies.

If you’re passionate about creating innovatively designed external and internal publications and are excited to further develop your skills this could be the job for you.

A good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is essential. A keen eye for detail is a must, and ideally, you’ll have some knowledge of art working and typographical principles.

This is a truly dynamic role which will report directly into the Head of the Bid team, and will work closely and learn from our Lead Bid Designer for your typical day-to-day responsibilities.

Required Skills:

  • 1 to 2 years Commercial Graphic Design/Artworking experience working either in-house for a studio or a creative agency. (Graduates also accepted – if they have the right skills for the role)
  • A good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
  • Ideally you will have some knowledge of artworking principles and typography.
  • Be able to use Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
  • A passion for design, a key eye for detail, and care for the work that you create, be it a twenty-minute job or a month-long project.
  • Ability to cope with several projects and deadlines at a time
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working closely with the Bid Team to deliver creatively designed proposals and Pitch material for each bid opportunity.
Responsilbilities:
  • Design and creatively produce documents and presentations, to visually communicate complex ideas and solutions to a non-technical audience, as well as when needed support the wider organisation with creative asset creation.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure design and brand standards are met and guidelines are adhered too
  • Work closely with the current Bid Team and the Marketing Team on the companies brand, ensuring consistency across any company collateral.
  • Creating and designing template documents to be used by the companies UK consultants for lower value opportunities.
  • Driving innovation and design strategy, pushing the boundaries of client facing materials.
