I am currently recruiting for a Bid & Business Development Manager who has strong health & wellbeing experience. This role is home based with UK wide travel.

About the role

You will be responsible for owning the end to end bid process from identifying new opportunities through to bid submission. Job responsibilities include;

  • Development of procurement opportunities assessing feasibility, risk and profitability
  • Monitoring portals, filtering through new business opportunities to identify work that fits our business strategy
  • Maximise business opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Complete PQQ’s and ITT’s
  • Completing storyboarding sessions, and strategy plans
  • Develop and write all method statements in line with specific requirements
  • Explore new market opportunities
  • Provide strong client relationship management through new business stage as well as during mobilisation stage
  • Work with the marketing team to grow company exposure
  • Lead the development of ad-hoc business opportunities, developing business cases that secure additional funding
  • Ensure timely, accurate production of bid documents
  • Attend, report on and manage all bid activity

About you

  • You must be an experience Bid and Business Development professional who has significant experience within health and wellbeing
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to communicate with people of all levels
  • Ability to present effectively to a range of different audiences
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at any one time
  • Excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure
  • Proven ability to assess and advise on policies and procedures with regard to health services, contracts and legislation
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft packages
