Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: KlangValley – Malaysia
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Klang Valley. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of resources, costs, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met effectively and efficiently.

Cost Management: Oversee all aspects of cost management including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure projects are completed within the agreed budget.

Tendering: Lead the tendering process, including the preparation and evaluation of tenders, and ensure the selection of the most appropriate contractors and suppliers.

Commercial Management: Handle commercial matters, including contract negotiation and administration. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Design and Construction Process: Provide expert advice on the design and construction process, ensuring that all designs are feasible and cost-effective.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in construction, with a proven track record of coordinating and managing large projects.

Client Management: Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Cost, Tendering, and Commercial Management: Extensive experience in cost management, tendering processes, and commercial management within the construction industry.

Knowledge: Strong knowledge of design and construction processes and commercial matters.

Availability: Must be available to start within 1-3 months.

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field.
