Established in the 15th century, Wellingborough School, situated in Northampton, an all through independent school. In 2021, the Governors undertook a full masterplan/estates strategy review taking into consideration the current site, the opportunity for growth, continued participant in the community as well as achieving a net zero carbon sustainable footprint thus establishing a 30-year masterplan called Project Copernicus. As a result of this programme, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and engaging Project Management professional to lead on Phase 1 of the project.

The successful individual will play a pivotal role in the delivery of Phase 1, with projects including a new build Technology Centre, a Nursery/Lower Prep, an Energy Centre, an access road and new parking facilities.

Potential candidates may already be working in a similar client-side role or may be in a consultancy environment with experience of delivering construction-related projects with particular focus on Educational or energy efficient buildings. Experience of working in a live environment often to tight deadlines is imperative. You will be a positive and collaborative team leader with excellent interpersonal skills. It is anticipated that the appointed candidate will have a professionally recognised qualification such RICS, CIOB or RIBA.
