About the Role:

Our client, a leading giga-project in Riyadh, KSA, is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join their team. In this role, you'll have the chance to revolutionize their financial processes, from bill payment automation to project budget monitoring. You'll mentor stakeholders and oversee the management of fixed assets for the organization and its subsidiaries. This is your chance to be a game-changer.

What You’ll Do:
 

  • Strategy and Innovation: Help shape our accounting strategy to align with our ambitious goals. Your input will be vital in creating and enforcing cutting-edge policies and procedures.
  • Budget Alignment: Work closely with our finance team to ensure our accounting budget aligns with our broader organizational goals, driving effective and efficient delivery of our objectives.
  • Systems and Processes: Oversee and enhance our accounting systems, ensuring seamless processing of payment requests and data integrity across profit centers, cost centers, and projects.
  • Project Support: Provide crucial support to our development departments, performing variance analyses and reporting on the financial and operational status of our projects.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and inspire our accounting team. Set clear goals, manage performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across the business to standardize processes and ensure smooth communication and execution of initiatives.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Review and refine policies and procedures, ensuring they remain relevant and effective in a rapidly changing environment.

What We’re Looking For:
 

  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A background in sectors such as entertainment, sports, leisure, real estate, or property.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance is essential; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Professional certifications like CMA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar are highly preferred.
  • A proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvements.
  • Local, regional or international experience welcomed.
