A unique opportunity has arisen for a senior landscape architecture professional to play a leading role in one of Saudi Arabia's most ambitious real estate developments.
Working at the forefront of placemaking and public realm design, this role will oversee landscape and public realm delivery across multiple assets and phases, each with its own identity and theme. The remit extends project-wide, combining vision with systemisation to ensure seamless integration of landscape, infrastructure, and public realm elements.
The Senior Director will be responsible for leading a new and rapidly expanding team, embedding robust processes and governance frameworks, and ensuring that all public realm and landscape works are delivered to the highest international standards. The role will focus less on pure design authorship and more on delivery oversight, cross-departmental collaboration, and the codification of processes to ensure consistency across the programme.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing landscape architecture and public realm delivery across the projects.

Embedding governance and systemised processes across design and delivery.

Managing integration and interfaces with infrastructure, transport, and other departments.

Leading, mentoring, and growing a multi-disciplinary team.

Driving progress on key deliverables and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Candidate requirements:

Extensive senior-level experience in landscape architecture, public realm, or related fields.

Proven track record in large-scale, complex projects such as giga-projects, world events, or destination cities.

Delivery-side or client-side background preferred; design studio experience alone is not sufficient.

Strong process and systemisation skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Experience in the Middle East highly desirable, ideally with mega-projects or large-scale developers.

Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and navigate complex governance structures.
