Senior Director / Country Lead (Cape Town, SA)

Salary: Negotiable

We are seeking a Senior Director for our recruitment team in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the commercial real estate industry and possess extensive experience in managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

What the role will involve:

  • Lead and manage a team of recruitment professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure the team meets or exceeds its recruitment goals.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand the hiring needs of the business and to ensure alignment between business objectives and recruitment efforts.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial real estate industry and establish the company as an employer of choice in the market
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management on recruitment activities including candidate pipeline time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing recruitment activities.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in recruitment, with a focus on commercial real estate
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing teams in a recruitment environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationship with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing recruitment activities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
