Senior Design Manager –  Infrastructure Project

We’re seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design efforts on a high-profile infrastructure programme based in West London.

You’ll play a pivotal role in managing design workflows, coordinating consultants and suppliers, and ensuring seamless integration of technical solutions from concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment with project scope, programme, and quality standards.
• Coordinate internal and external design teams, including architectural, structural, and specialist suppliers.
• Oversee production of detailed design packages, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
• Act as the primary interface between design, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure constructability and programme alignment.
• Champion continuous improvement, safety in design, and best practice across all phases of the project lifecycle.

About You

• 7–10 years’ experience in design management or technical coordination roles within complex infrastructure or built environment projects.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design processes and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable navigating evolving project requirements and driving clarity across teams.
• Formal qualification in Design, Engineering, or Project Management.
