Job Title: Project Manager (Civil & Structural) – Factory Construction Projects

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Civil & Structural) to oversee factory construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of civil and structural works, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for civil and structural works.
- Oversee the execution of construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Manage the procurement of materials and services required for C&S works, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and contractors, to ensure seamless execution of civil and structural works.
- Coordinate with M&E teams, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate C&S works with other project components.
- Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Budget & Cost Management:
- Monitor project costs, ensuring that expenditures remain within the approved budget.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or safety.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting project progress and any budgetary concerns.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks related to C&S works and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and costs.
- Ensure that contingency plans are in place for unforeseen issues, such as weather delays or material shortages.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports, change orders, and site documentation.
- Prepare and present regular updates to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Manage the close-out process, including final inspections, handover documentation, and lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in project management, specifically in factory or industrial construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale C&S projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory requirements related to civil and structural works.
