Off Plan Manager – Government Agency
Relocation Opportunity, GCC
Role Description
MRG have been mandated to appoint to the post of Off-Plan Manager on behalf of a key client in the GCC region. This individual will be responsible for defining requirements needed for off-plan affairs, licencing for developers, and seeking for new opportunities to improve existing practices in order to ensure alignment with the central Real Estate Office’s important mandate and objectives.
The team that this role sits within set policies and governance in the real estate sector to increase foreign investments and . The agency has its own financial and administrative independence with full legal authority to regulate the real estate sector under it’s jurisdiction.
Responsibilities & Activities
As a leading policy expert in Real Estate, you will be responsible for leading strategy, refining the regulatory affairs and licensing department strategy as well as endorsing policies while adhering to all applicable laws and legislation. You will manage all off-plan activities, understanding local market dynamics through research and advising how to ensure opportunities for market growth and performance.
You will work with the off-plan committee to set guidelines for licensing plans and requirements for developers, collect off-plan documentation for review and receive progress updates on off-plan developments. Finally, you will ensure that all developers of off-plan property apply for and maintain the correct licenses to operate, taking the necessary legal action against those who do not comply.
Background, Skills & Experience.
As an expert in off-plan, you will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, ideally working for a RERA organisation, government institution or ministry. You will have a strong track record in the full lifecycle of off-plan affairs from design to implementation and be comfortable working with boards, public speaking & publishing thought leadership in this space.
