MEP Manager – Johore Based

The Role: Experienced MEP Manager required

Our trusted client, a world renowned design and PMC are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead the delivery, testing, and commissioning of critical infrastructure systems on complex, fast-paced projects. This role will focus on managing contractors and ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works meet technical, safety, and scheduling requirements. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-performance data centres or mission-critical facilities with operational excellence at the core.

The Opportunity

•    Oversee on-site MEP activities, including planning, daily
      reporting, and managing contractor performance.
•    Lead the commissioning process by coordinating stage 
     gates, timelines, and execution sequencing.
•    Review and validate contractor method statements,
      manpower plans, and resource loading.
•    Ensure compliance with local safety regulations (e.g.,
     DOSH, BOMBA) and intervene in EHS issues when
     necessary.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to align construction
      progress with project milestones and operational goals.

Required Experience

•    10–12 years of MEP project management experience in
     data centers or mission-critical environments.
•    Deep technical knowledge of M&E systems, including 
     HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and BMS.
•    Proven experience with testing, commissioning, and
      contractor coordination.
•    Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills with
      a proactive, fast – paced mindset.
