We are looking for an M&E Design Manager to work for an Internationally renowned design, engineering, and construction company with a strong global presence who are involved in multiple greenfield heavy industrial projects across Malaysia.

The Role:
Lead and manage the design coordination and delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Process (MEP) services for a major industrial development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full M&E design process from concept to construction, ensuring integration with architectural and structural disciplines.
- Coordinate with process engineering teams to align M&E systems with plant and equipment requirements.
- Review and validate consultant design submissions and technical deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and client specifications.
- Liaise closely with project management, construction, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-efficiency.
- Lead design workshops and interface meetings with consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.
- Proactively identify design risks and work collaboratively to implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical support during tendering and construction phases.
- Manage design change control and ensure accurate documentation is maintained throughout the design lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of M&E/Process design experience, ideally within heavy industrial, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process systems, including coordination challenges in complex environments.
- Proven track record leading multidisciplinary design teams.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, engineering-led environment.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Able to start within the next 4–6 weeks.
