About the client
The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Group Accountant for a social housing provider in London.
Accountabilities
• Responsible for this organisations annual budget, variations and small contracts
• Management of stakeholder relationships
• Management of a small team
• Presentation of management accounts at board level
• Lead on internal and external audits
• Liaison with local authorities
• Regular liaison with the regulator of social housing
• Development of financial projections/statements
• Day-to-day landlord services accounting
Candidate Requirements
• Available to start late Feb/early March 2025
• Fully-qualified accountant
• Proven experience in social housing
• Proven experience operating at Group level
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Highly disciplined in various areas within accounts as well as project accounting skills
• Highly diligent, good operational skills and able to work well with a variety of stakeholder types
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present management accounts at Board level
