Are you a talented and experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager looking for your next challenge? A public sector organisation based in Hampshire are looking for someone to join their team and make a real difference. This is a fixed-term contract for a period of 9 months.
As the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the organisation meets all of its legal and regulatory requirements relating to health and safety, as well as promoting the wellbeing of their staff and visitors. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement policies and procedures, train staff in health and safety practices, and advise senior management on best practice.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in delivering projects around health and safety, and wellbeing, and will have designed, implemented and managed procedures relating to health and safety. You will also have excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation, outstanding communication and people skills, and hold an IOSH certification as a minimum. We are looking for someone who is passionate about health and safety and wellbeing, and who has a commitment to continuous professional development. You will be able to work under pressure and to deadlines, and will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You will be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and will be friendly and supportive to colleagues.
