The LSE Estates Division is responsible for development and implementation of the LSE Estates Strategy supporting the School’s strategic objectives, and environmental sustainability forms a crucial part of this.

Creating a sustainable LSE is one of the commitments of LSE’s 2030 strategy. The Head of Environmental Sustainability will lead the development and delivery of the School’s sustainability strategic plan. The postholder will promote and champion sustainability through the development and implementation of School wide environmental and sustainability policies and management systems. You will be supported by a team of 5 environmental sustainability professionals across the full portfolio of activities.

We are seeking individuals with a proven track record in leading the delivery of environmental sustainability strategies, and with experience of delivering measurable success in improving environmental performance and sustainability culture within an organisation. You will be an excellent communicator with high-level influencing skills and the ability to gain credibility at a senior level across a large, complex organisation.
