c.£70,000 to £80,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package

Reporting to the Associate Director of Facilities, the Head of Security will be responsible for managing all aspects of physical security to ensure the provision of a secure and safe environment for our students, visitors and staff. You will provide highly visible and authentic leadership to a large and multi-site team and continue to build the professionalism and skills of your team whilst looking to drive innovation and change. The Head of Security will lead the team to deliver world class customer service for a world-class institution with a focus on enhancing the student experience whilst still ensuring a safe environment and value for money.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working on their own initiative and providing expert advice regarding security matters; you will also possess extensive experience in the management of security for large and high-profile events. This role would suit individuals with a track record in creating a culture of exceptional delivery and managing change. Strong communication skills will be essential as the role includes extensive partnerships with our neighbours as well as external bodies including the Met Police and NHS Trusts.
