University for the Creative Arts (UCA) is seeking to make the appointment to the post of Head of Health & Safety to play a crucial and influential role across the organisation.

As UCA’s Head of Health and Safety, you will be the professional lead in relation to Health and Safety and as such will lead the direction, strategy and objectives for health and safety within the University community.  You will own and develop the University’s Health and Safety Management System and engage and influence stakeholders to achieve continual improvement in health and safety performance and culture.

We are looking for an experienced leader, with a proven track record of delivering a comprehensive health and safety provision successfully, to lead and develop the strategic direction of fire, health, safety management across a diverse, complex organisation.  With a background and professional qualification in the health and safety industry, you will possess a proven track record of delivering health and safety management initiatives that drive organisational change and performance improvement.  

To be a success in the role the appointed candidate will need the excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills required to operate influentially across a complex organisation with a diverse range of stakeholder groups.
