About the job
- This role will be actively involved in strategy building, reporting, project controlling as well as treasury/cash planning.
- Responsible for developing solid cross-functional business partnerships, driving project cost control, improving processes, implementing business intelligence tools, and inspiring change management.
- APAC experience is a must.
Accountabilities
- Drive the APAC management reporting process for performance management
- Partner with the project team to monitor project performance and cost control from Dev to EPC, provide early warning to management team
- Manage FP&A workstream including monthly forecast, quarterly business review, annual budget exercise, long terms strategic plan etc
- Support treasury and cashflow planning for APAC
- Lead regional business intelligence and finance reporting function, seek opportunities for RPA and finance digital transformation.
- Drive practical process improvement across the region for better control and productivities
- Lead and execute ad-hoc projects
- Training, mentoring and development of staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing regional functions.
- Demonstrated expertise in management reporting, financial planning and analysis, and treasury management within a multinational corporation.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing business intelligence tools and driving digital transformation initiatives in finance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in cost control and performance monitoring across diverse teams and projects.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards and regulatory requirements in the APAC region.
