Are you a pragmatic, commercially aware FM Manager with at least 3 years’ experience of managing a maintenance team and looking for a new and exciting challenge in your career?

We’re working with Leeds Castle who are looking for a motivated FM manager with great relationship building skills to lead & manage the Hard Services team, undertaking all hard services, managing elements of major projects, pre-planned & reactive maintenance and legal compliance of the Castle, estate and services. Leeds Castle is a 900-year-old Grade 1 listed Castle & estate, so experience of planning & managing heritage & infrastructure projects is a must. 

The Leeds Castle estate includes four gardens, three playgrounds, a maze, an adventure golf course, a bird of prey centre, a nine-hole golf course and multiple retail & catering outlets, as well as a wider estate totalling 1000 acres.  Major events include Fireworks Spectacular, Queen’s Joust, Christmas Lights Trail, Christmas in the Castle & Design Month and there is a vibrant hospitality business, including multiple accommodation options, frequent weddings, dinners and dine & sleep events.   

The Hard Services Manager will play a crucial part in the planning & delivering of extensive upgrades to the Castle’s heritage assets, attractions & estate infrastructure over the next ten years.  Alongside this, the role will be crucial to ensure Leeds Castle remains legally compliant and a safe place to work, volunteer, visit and stay.
