Worth School is a co-educational Catholic boarding and day school for pupils aged 11 to 18. The School is located within the grounds of Worth Abbey, a Benedictine monastery which stretches to 500 acres of countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Sussex. The estate offers a mixture of heritage and modern buildings. Many of the buildings are adapted from a Victorian manor house and the more modern buildings have been designed to complement the iconic Abbey church built in the 1970s. Worth School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and proactive Hard FM Manager. Reporting to the Estates Bursar, you will have responsibility for a team of six. You will support the Estates Bursar in developing and keeping an update estates strategy as well as ensuring compliance checks are adhered to and up to date, as well as managing contractors on site.
As a suitable candidate you will possess strong communicator with a proven track-record of producing articulate reports and presentations. You will have the ability to build strong relationships working collaboratively with stakeholders and your in-house team. You will have extensive experience of implementing robust and efficient systems and processes, ensuring operational effectiveness. Additionally, the post holder will be expected to provide effective leadership and management on all Health, Safety & Environmental matters.
