Reporting to the Halls Team Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of one of the university’s halls of residences, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that halls are a positive experience for students whilst supporting their needs within the framework of company policies and procedures and the University values.

The Hall Manager will lead, motivate, and support the team whilst successfully managing internal and external relationships. The post holder will be the main point of contact for the residents and visitors, who work closely with third-party collaborators. They will actively look for opportunities to improve all students’ Halls of Residence experience through proactive, continual improvement of site facilities and site operational activities.

You will have exceptional management and leadership skills in a comparable market (preferably in a university or accommodation environment), as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships internally and externally. You will have an energetic approach to delivering outstanding customer service and experience managing teams with a positive attitude. You will be able to manage difficult situations and have a willingness to undertake challenging tasks to ensure student satisfaction.
