I am currently recruiting for an Estimator for a hard service focused facilities management business who are building their work winning team. This is a permanent full time role which can be based in Greater Manchester or Bristol on a hybrid basis. The salary is £60,000 – £80,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance.
You will be an experienced estimator, with a proven track record of pricing hard service FM contracts. You’ll be confident working alongside and supporting the bid team throughout the bid process, providing expertise when required.
About the role
- Work with the wider business to provide tender cost submissions for facilities services tender opportunities
- Obtain tender price from suppliers, wholesalers and subcontractors
- Attend site visits, interpret drawings, understand asset registers and assist in establishing the most cost-effective solution
- Maintain all tender documentation and supporting documents in a logical and sequential manner
- Develop relationships through networking with new and existing clients
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitors and upcoming opportunities
- Participate in handover of successful bids to the delivery team
- Develop and maintain internal relationships
