Estates Project Manager
Starting salary £49,756 per annum plus excellent benefits

The University of Westminster is seeking to appoint an Estates Project Manager to lead the delivery of estates improvement projects.

The University has a vast estate portfolio in excess of 170,000m2 of space. The Estates Planning and Services department is responsible for the capital investment and management of the estate equating in approximately £35 million annual spend. The estate consists of 10 main sites with c.40 buildings providing a range of teaching and learning environments, across the west end of London and Harrow. The estate also includes c.1200 student accommodation bedrooms.

Working within the team that report to the Deputy Director of Capital Development, the role will lead on estate improvement and minor works projects, managing a diverse range of refurbishment, alteration, and maintenance projects to ensure that the University benefits from first-class estates and facilities provision to support its growing student base.

We are seeking an individual that has experience of leading complex refurbishment and modernisation projects typically in the £250k to £1m value range. You will have strong technical skills and will be adept at procurement and managing projects that are delivered in live, operational high public footfall environments.

The Estates department work in a flexible way including a mixture of working from various University sites and working from home.
