MRG Global is undertaking a confidential search for a Director of Structural Engineering for a leading multidisciplinary privately owned consultancy with a strong presence in the Middle East.

Responsibilities:
This is a leadership role within the organisation, encompassing strategic, managerial, and technical tasks.
- Strategic Vision and Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies for the structural division to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of structural engineers, architects, and other professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Project Management
- Project Oversight: Oversee all structural engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure project success.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with structural projects.
Technical Expertise
- Design and Analysis: Provide expert guidance on the design and analysis of building structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Technical Review: Conduct or oversee technical reviews of structural designs, calculations, and drawings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for Director of Structures role possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 – 20 years in design and supervision
- Large-scale project execution
- Preferably Middle East project experience, this role would suit someone who has previously worked in the Middle East and is looking to return.
