Role Summary:
The Director of Valuation will lead the valuation and advisory division, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and service delivery across a range of real estate asset classes. This role requires strong leadership, client engagement, and technical expertise to deliver high-quality valuations in line with international and local standards. The opportunity is in the Middle East and requires MRICS.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy

Set strategic direction for the valuations division aligned with company objectives.

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high performance and professional development.

Develop and implement business plans to drive efficiency, profitability, and growth.

Identify new service opportunities and geographic expansion areas.
Business Development & Client Management

Drive business development across public and private sectors.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients including developers, banks, corporates, investors, and government entities.

Lead high-level client engagements, pitches, and negotiations for complex mandates.
Valuation Delivery

Oversee valuation assignments across asset classes including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, and land.

Ensure compliance with RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book) and local regulations.

Deliver robust valuations for financial reporting, investment, financing, and legal purposes.
Operational & Financial Management

Manage departmental P&L, budgets, and forecasts to meet financial targets.

Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and risk management processes.

Maintain high standards of compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

MRICS qualification (Chartered Valuation Surveyor) is essential.

Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in commercial real estate valuations.

Track record in leading and growing a valuations business.

Strong knowledge of GCC property markets and regulatory environment.

Proficiency in valuation tools (e.g., Argus, Excel, GIS).

Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be operating at Associate Director level, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience (PQE), and ready to take the next step in their career. MRICS qualification and proven experience within the GCC region are essential.
