We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Director of Finance & Operations (DFO), to play an integral part in not only the Senior Leadership Team, but also the staff and the wider community. Reporting to the Head, you will play an integral role in long-term strategic development and planning of the whole schools as well as leading the entire operations of the school across HR, Finance, Estates, IT and Catering and Housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, with a relevant qualification and membership within (Finance, Property or Human Resources) and have a commitment to making a difference. The ability to build relationships and credibility with senior stakeholders is key, as is the capability to support multiple teams. You will be a self-starter who is able to adapt and guide stakeholders in a confident and timely manner, with a commitment to EDI and the ability to promote best practice at work.
You will be an exceptional leader, who will be a role model for the support team, who has the credibility and confidence to liaise with the academic staff, parents, pupils and Trust level alike. An approachable and flexible manner is essential, as you will be expected to play an integral role in the day to day school.
