Director of Estates & Campus Services
Competitive salary and benefits package
Leading the strategic direction of Estates and Campus Services, creating a culture of exceptional service delivery focused on enhancing our student and staff experience.
The University of Northampton is one of the youngest universities in the UK, gaining full university status and research degree awarding powers in 2005. Whilst we may be a ‘new’ University, we have made our impact in the Higher Education sector. We are committed to making a difference to the world around us and doing things differently; for example, we were the first University in the UK to be named as a Changemaker Campus in 2012 and are dedicated to creating social impact in all that we do.
As a member of the University Leadership Team the post-holder will lead the successful delivery of the University’s ambitious estate, commercial, and facilities development plans in the context of the University’s strategy. The Director will balance strategic leadership with innovation and operational delivery, building strategic partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders and taking responsibility for delivering a complex portfolio of development, innovation, improved user experience and value for money.
We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of leading estates, facilities and commercial services across large scale, diverse and technically complex portfolios. A natural collaborator, you will possess the interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills to succeed in a leading higher education institution. This role will suit professionals who excel at delivering change and transformation to deliver ‘best in class’ services.
