c.£65,000 per annum plus additional benefits

Lincoln Cathedral is a sacred place of worship, a world-renowned heritage site, and thriving community event venue at the heart of the city of Lincoln. We welcome tens of thousands of worshippers, visitors and pilgrims every year and aim to offer every single one an excellent experience.

We are seeking to appoint to the newly created post of Director of Estates and Facilities to lead and develop the strategic estate management plans for the Cathedral and wider Cathedral estate portfolio.

Reporting to the COO and as a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Estates and Facilities will lead the estate strategy of the Cathedral itself and the wider portfolio of 81 properties, ensuring that opportunity is identified and delivered across the predominantly Grade l and ll listed portfolio.

The Director of Estates and Facilities will lead the established inhouse team, responsible for multiple programmes of works including capital works, maintenance (planned and preventative), sustainability, property management, transactions and development.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a senior property or estates management role and possess a highly commercial approach, teamed with an understanding of the overall ambitions of the organisation. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are vital to success in the role.

The Director of Estates and Facilities offers a unique opportunity to oversee a historic and iconic estate that leaves a lasting impact on its worshippers, visitors and community.
