Senior Development Director

Location: London, Hybrid

Salary: £170 – £190k PA dependent on experience, plus bonus/beneifts package

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Development Director to lead our development projects across various sectors. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the acquisition, planning, and delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and are executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Project Leadership: Oversee the entire development cycle, from site identification and acquisition to design, planning, construction, and final delivery.
  • Site Acquisition and Feasibility: Lead the acquisition of prime sites, working closely with the land acquisition team to assess viability and secure opportunities.
  • Investor and Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with institutional investors, joint venture partners, and stakeholders to secure funding and ensure project success.
  • Project Delivery: Manage large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Strategic Growth: Shape and implement a long-term development strategy, identifying future opportunities for expansion across various sectors.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring all aspects of development align with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience in property development, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects across various sectors.
  • Strong network within the property investment, planning, and development sectors, with the ability to secure off-market deals.
  • Expertise in the acquisition and planning process, with an eye for identifying viable opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-phase developments, from land acquisition through to construction and asset management.
  • Commercially minded with a strategic vision for expanding a diverse project portfolio.
