An exciting opportunity to be the institutional lead on data protection, freedom of information, information governance and records management.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Governance, Compliance and Risk the Data Protection and Information Governance Manager will lead the University’s data protection and information governance service and team and be the university’s technical authority on data protection, freedom of information, information governance and records management. With a particular focus on advising on compliance in these areas.  You will develop and implement the policies, procedures and guidance on best practice that ensure compliance and will be responsible for leading, developing and empowering the Data Protection and Information Governance Team. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience of working in data protection, GDPR, information governance or records management within a complex organisation to shape the delivery of effective and efficient “best in class” service whilst fostering an inclusive and high performing culture.
