Job Title: Construction Director – Hospitality

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential client, a leading organization involved in one of the most prestigious and large-scale developments in the region. Our client is seeking a highly experienced Project Director – Hospitality to lead the construction and delivery of luxury hospitality assets within a landmark project. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of construction management, stakeholder coordination, and delivering high-end hospitality projects to international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Oversight: Lead and manage the construction and delivery phases of hospitality developments, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and within agreed timelines.
- Project Delivery: Oversee contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure that all milestones are met and that hospitality assets are delivered on schedule.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the key point of contact between internal teams, contractors, and external consultants, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget and Resource Management: Ensure that all projects are delivered within budget, with close monitoring of costs and resource allocation to avoid overruns.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to address any potential delays or challenges that may impact project delivery.
- Contract Management: Manage all construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and hold contractors accountable for delivering quality work.
- Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards of quality assurance, ensuring that all hospitality assets meet or exceed the client’s expectations.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in line with the highest health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management or project delivery of large-scale luxury hospitality or mixed-use developments. Ideally on the contractor, builder or consultancy side.
Skills:

- Proven track record in managing the delivery of complex, high-value hospitality projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and risk mitigation in the hospitality sector.
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with regional construction practices and regulations is preferred.
