We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Bursar to play an integral part in not only the Senior Leadership Team, the staff and the wider community as well as well as working closely with the Forfar Board of Governance. Reporting to the Head, you will play an integral role in long-term strategic development and planning of the school and nursery as well as leading the entire operations of the school across HR, Finance, Estates, Catering and Cleaning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, with a relevant qualification and membership, ideally gained within Finance or School Business Management and have a commitment to making a difference. The ability to build relationships and credibility with senior stakeholders is key, as is the capability to support multiple teams.
You will be an exceptional leader, who will be a role model for the support team, who has the credibility and confidence to liaise with the academic staff, parents, pupils and group level alike. An approachable and flexible manner is essential, as you will be expected to play an integral role in the day-to-day school.
