Bid Writer

I am working with a UK renowned contractor that specialises in enabling works who are looking to recruit a Bid Writer. The role is Hybrid and will require you to work occasionally in their head office based in Leeds.

Due to continued growth the team are now looking to expand and require support from an experienced Bid Writer. This is a great opportunity for an experienced bid writer who is looking to share their expertise in producing winning content and providing guidance for the best work winning solution.

The role

You will be responsible for creating clear, concise and persuasive written content for bids across the security services sector. You will lead the preparation, production and submission of content whilst working closely with the Head of Business Development. Alongside the writing element of the role, you will be responsible for managing and developing the bid library to ensure all bids are unified and have a clear message.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop high quality, articulate and compelling winning bids via the application of a mature embedded sales and bid process
• Provide end-to-end support throughout the bid life cycle, including tender kick off, proposal management, presentations and obtaining stakeholder feedback
• Working with the Head of Business Development through a bid/no-bid process
• Monitor/manage all procurement portals to identify potential business aligned opportunities

About you

You will be an experienced bid writer who is confident managing all stages of the bid process with a proven track record of writing winning bids. Experience within the security sector would be a huge advantage however my client is open to applicants from any sector. You must be highly organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong project management capabilities.
