I am currently recruiting for an ambitious Bid Writer to join a growing business within the training sector.
About the role
Playing a vital role in developing and growing the bid function, you will be responsible for – create bid responses from a variety of stakeholders, ensure win themes are articulated in a way to meet and exceed client requirements, deliver complete written bid responses against agreed RFP deadlines, lead planning sessions with bid / proposal team members, undertake market research for the kick off and solution meetings, design robust solutions for bids, re-bids and additional contract extensions, liaise with other teams to convert proposals into comprehensive costing models prior to tender submissions, proactively develop and manage a network of subject matter experts, identify and re-work existing pre-written content and present and tag all new proposal content to the knowledge database management systems for potential re-use.
About you
My client is looking for an experienced, ambitious bid writer who is ideally educated to degree level. You will have a demonstrable history of writing and managing the entire bid lifecycle within a B2B environment. You must have worked on multi-million pound tenders and have extensive public sector bidding experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must have, as are the ability to manage a busy workload, meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively with people at all levels. This role is to join a growing bid team and play a vital part in their ambitious growth plans.
