I am currently working with a major hire provider of tools and equipment to find them an ambitious bid writer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working role based out of their office in Manchester.
You will be responsible for creating clear, concise and persuasive written content for bids across the specialist hire services. You will lead the preparation, production and submission of content whilst working closely with the Bid Manager. Alongside the writing element of the role, you will be responsible for managing and developing the bid library to ensure all bids are unified and have a clear message.
- Develop high quality, articulate and compelling winning bids via the application of a mature embedded sales and bid process
- Provide end-to-end support throughout the bid life cycle, including tender kick off, proposal management, presentations and obtaining stakeholder feedback
- Working with the Head of Business Development through a bid/no-bid process
- Monitor/manage all procurement portals to identify potential business aligned opportunities
You will be an experienced bid writer who is confident managing all stages of the bid process with a proven track record of writing winning bids. Experience within the security sector would be a huge advantage however my client is open to applicants from any sector. You must be highly organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong project management capabilities.
The role is looking to pay up to £40,000 and is hybrid, with the office based in Manchester.
