My client, a growing Bid Consultancy are currently seeking a Bid Writer to join their team in Sheffield. This role offer hybrid working.
About the role
You will lead and coordinator input and responses for pre-qualification questionnaires and invitation to tenders, develop and manage responses working closely with subject matter experts, identify and re-work existing content in line with specific questions and client requirements, re-write and edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, deliver completed written proposal responses against agreed deadlines, develop innovative ways of sharing and presenting information and apply client feedback to future responses to drive continuous improvement.
My client is open to candidates with 1 years’ experience who are willing to learn and develop, through to experienced bid writers who are interested in working for a bid consultancy. Previous construction / infrastructure / civil engineering experience would be an advantage, however my client is open to any sector experience. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work in a high-pressured environment and to tight deadlines, manage multi projects at any one time and be confident dealing with people at all levels. Ideally you will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject (English, Journalism, Creative Writing, History etc).
