I am currently working with an UK-based healthcare provider who are seeking 2 Bid Managers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader that specialise in employee wellbeing and occupational health to major organisations nationwide.
This role would suit someone with a background in bid management with at least 2+ years bid writing. My client is open to any sector background however previous healthcare experience would be beneficial.
The salary banding is £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience and is full time office based in Manchester. The package includes 25 days holiday + bank holidays, healthcare, life cover, quarterly bonus & profit share scheme.
The Role
As Bid Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end bidding process across multiple business units. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, commercial, and technical teams to craft compelling, compliant, and client-focused proposals. From new business opportunities to retenders and renewals, you’ll be the strategic force behind our bids.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
• Leading capture planning and competitive analysis
• Managing a pipeline of opportunities
• Developing win strategies and proposal content
• Coordinating cross-functional teams
• Ensuring compliance and timely submission
• Driving continuous improvement across the bid function
What You Bring
• 3+ years’ experience in bid management
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills
• Proven success in public and private sector bidding
• Ability to manage complex proposals and tight deadlines
• A collaborative and self-starter mindset
