A family run Tier 1 contractor are looking for a Bid Manager. This individual will lead cross-functional teams through all stages of the tender process—from bid strategy and win theme development to risk analysis and client engagement. You’ll produce high-quality proposals and presentations that reflect a deep understanding of client needs, regulatory standards, and market expectations, while ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.

Ideal candidates will bring at least five years’ experience in bid management, a strong grasp of social housing procurement, and a keen eye for detail and storytelling. You’ll be adept at identifying and mitigating bid risks, leading lessons-learned sessions post-submission, and contributing to wider business development efforts including marketing materials and industry events. A degree in a writing-focused discipline is preferred, along with a passion for innovation, collaboration, and winning work that delivers social value and lasting impact. This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working on offer and excellent career progression routes with the business.
