I am currently working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy who are seeking a Bid Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role requires 1 day per week in one of their offices – Manchester, Motherwell or London.
This is a great opportunity to work in a varied role which will see you working on some of the most exciting design and engineering projects. You will be involved in all aspects of the bid process, so if you are someone who likes to be hands on and get stuck in, this could be the role for you.
Main duties
Working with the bid team to monitor the shared mailbox and manage new opportunities coming through
Coordinate the decision-making process for each proposal
Contribute to win strategies and storyboard development
Prepare EOIs, PQQs and ITTs
Coordination and management of the bid process
Management of clarification questions
Creating high quality written responses and working with the wider business on technical content
Production of CVs and case studies
Ensure governance process and company procedures are followed
Complete supplier questionnaires
Creating presentation material and other collateral
About you
My client is looking for an experienced bid professional who is comfortable writing and managing bids. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships with co-workers and the leadership team. My client is open to applicants from any sector and would consider bid coordinators / bid executives with 2+ years’ experience who are ready to take the next step in their career. As you’ll be joining a small team, you must be a team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved. Alongside weekly office travel, you will also be required to occasionally travel to other office locations, with some over night stays.
