I am currently working with a successful fit out business who are seeking a creative bid manager to join their team. This is a permanent, full time role based between thier two offices in Manchester and Leeds. They offer flexible working and you will typically be at home 2 days per week. The salary is £40,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
This role would suit a bid manager who has strong InDesign skills and a creative flair, or someone who wants to be more creative in their bids but doesn’t have that opportunity in their current role. You’ll join a supportive team of 3 who will provide training and development on the creative side should you not already have those skills.
Main Duties
- You will lead the production, content writing and design of bids, collating relevant information for the tender documents from subject matter experts across the business
- You’ll design and create bespoke tender submissions and interview / pitch documents
- You will work closely with contract managers to define win strategies and win themes, and liaise between marketing, pre-construction and construction teams
- You will research the client, understanding their brand and values to inject this into the bid
- You’ll push boundaries creatively to ensure all bids stand out from the competition
- You will be responsible for the overall content, quality and compliance of the bid, ensuring it’s completed on time and to the highest quality
