An international facilities services business who operate in over 25 countries is seeking a Bid Manager to join their UK team. This is a permanent, full time role, working hybrid from their office in West Bromwich. As a stand alone bid manager, you will take responsibility for the entire bid process, working closely with the sales team.

The salary is £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience and my client is open to seasoned bid managers looking for a new challenge, or senior bid coordinators who are ready to take the next step in their career. You can come from any sector (product or services), as long as you’re confident managing all stages of the bid process.

Main duties

  • Own and manage the entire bid lifecycle
  • Manage the flow of new business opportunities, working with the sales team to qualify them
  • Provide market insight to the sales leads
  • Create and continuously improve the bid library
  • Create new content for the bid library, engaging with subject matter experts across the business
  • Provide support to all inbound tender and RFP enquiries and ensure compelling responses are created
  • Conduct client research to understand their brand, incorporating that into the bid
  • Manage deadlines and review sessions
