The University has developed a new food and retail brand, “Food Fellows”, which promotes an excellent food and beverage offering, tailored to our students, staff and visitors, delivered via a blend of inhouse, household favourites and independent operators. To support this offering we are developing a Food and Retail Hub; a space where students, staff and campus visitors can socialise whilst sampling different world cuisines, all with sustainability and authenticity at the heart, and purchase a range of attractive goods and services.
The University is searching for a senior leader with experience in managing large scale food, beverage and retail operations with a background in hospitality, retail or leisure. The Associate Director – Food and Retail will lead a large team in the delivery of the “Food Fellows” brand. The postholder will also work with the University’s commercial partners to deliver a vibrant retail offering, that is attractive to a diverse customer base. You will drive the commercial and financial aspirations of the University, whilst also delivering brand excellence.
