2x Apprentice Bid Writer/Junior Bid Writers – £22,000 – £45,000 – Essex – Permanent  
2x Apprentice Bid Writer required to work for a leading construction company based in Essex. This an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to get into bid writing and be put through an APMP course which will be paid for by the company.
 
They will offer you 6 monthly salary reviews with the aim to have you as a fully trained bid writer within 2 years and learning from some industry leading Bid Writers.
 
If you already have some bid writing experience, you would join them as a Junior Bid Writer, immediately taking ownership of completing Selection Questionnaires and drafting tender responses. If you have no bid writing experience, you would join them as an Apprentice Bid Writer, being given training on completing Selection Questionnaires and on drafting elements of a response for the Business Support Director to review.
 
Both roles will involve using a variety of source material (including our Bid Library, using research to improve our proposals and working closely with colleagues, especially operational managers, who need to contribute to the bidding process.
 
Whether you start as a Trainee or a Junior, they will support you to develop quickly into a Bid Writer, taking full responsibility for the entire bid process end to end.
 
They are looking to someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, who is not afraid of hard work or deadlines.
 
You must be bright, willing to learn and curious.
 
You must have first class English writing skills, including a wide vocabulary and a good grasp of grammar.

  • Highly motivated with a flexible approach

 
The Apprentice role is likely to suit a graduate while the Junior role will suit someone with a 1-2 years’ experience in bid writing
